NAC Kazatomprom JSC will implement the Zero Injury concept in the workplace. Kazatomprom is the first national company in the Republic of Kazakhstan that joined the global Vision Zero movement, having received the certificate of the programme’s official partner.
The Vision Zero concept’s priority is to ensure the safety, health and well-being of employees and it was developed by the International Social Security Association (ISSA). The aim of this concept is to prevent accidents in the workplace and occupational illnesses of personnel. Fundamental principles for reducing injuries are reflected in seven "golden rules" of the programme.
Kazatomprom shares Vision Zero principles, which fully in line with the company’s development strategy, security policy and corporate values. As a part of the concept implementation, company has developed comprehensive measures to improve safety and working conditions.
